Why I Refuse To Wear Flip Flops

One of my main Summer staples, when it comes to fashion, are sandals. Cute flat sandals, with details on them. I have officially refused to wear plastic flip flops. You know the ones that go on sale at Old Navy with different colors. I used to collect them so much I would have doubles of each color. I got rid of all of them. Why, you ask?

What's Inside My Purse!

I'm always curious to see what women bring with them in their purses aside from the usual phone, keys, and wallet. I think that's why those "What's in my purse", videos are addicting.  There are a couple of necessities I must carry with me at all times. You know just in case there is a natural disaster like a blizzard bringing in  six feet of snow, or a tornado that will bring Dorothy, or even rain that will flood our city like Godzilla is coming out of Lake Michigan. Anything can happen where I live, it's all four season this week alone. Ha ha okay I may have exaggerated a bit but some these items are "if you were stuck on an deserted island" type of products.

As Summer is coming to an end I'm on a hunt for a new staple in my closet and signature scent. One that I can wear all throughout Fall and into the Winter. Luxurious Spa Day With The Girls

The Bridal Shower is almost here! My girlfriends and I spend the day in the beautiful city of Chicago preparing for the weekend. We had a luxurious spa day at the Colette Salon and Spa where we were treated with the absolute best customer service. We had time to relax with complimentary wine while we had manis, and pedis done, as well as eye lash extensions. 

Even through massive research, Ashley and I were very nervous to get our eye lashes extensions. We felt very confident to get them done with the information provided by their eyelash expert Sabrina. She was amazing and helped answer all of our questions very honestly. Highly recommend this hot spot right off Michigan Ave. Don't wait book your appointment today! I wanted to take this opportunity to thank my maid of honor and bridesmaid, Nydia my Sissy and Ashley, for taking their time and effort to throw me a Bridal Shower. They let me have a sneak peak at what's to come for Sunday and I honestly cannot wait. I thought it was only appropriate to give them a Tiffany & Co. accessory to wear for the Belinda & Co. Valentine's Day Treats!

Happy Valentines Day sweeties! I hope you got spoiled with love today! Ricardo made me feel extra special today. I'm a lucky girl. I had to work today which didn't leave much time for a full day together, but we still managed to have a delicious dinner together. He also sent chocolate covered strawberries to my job with a heart melting message that read, "Baby I love you and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!"

Style Challenge: Bodycon Dress

Part of getting ready and choosing out my outfit for the day is half the fun. You should see my closet when I'm done hee hee, it's like a tornado came through. Indulgera put me to challenge! I was sent a bodycon dress to style from morning wear to a night time wear.

Can we just talk about how adorably chic it was packaged. It made me that much more excited to style it! Indulgera is an online boutique shop with unique pieces for the "it girl". The dresses can transition for different events, like brunch out with your girlfriends to a date night. I  breath fashion, and often get inspired by colors. Depending on my mood and weather, of course. It was fun and interesting working with two different looks. My sense of fashion is very girly and playful, I think that's why I love to wear skirts.

Love You Like A Love Song

For my Birthday in July, Ashley, surprised me with tickets to Selena Gomez's Stars Dance concert! I freaked out! I have been a fan of her for many years and now that she's touring I'm so happy that I got a chance to see her perform. She sang my favorite song too, "love you like a love song". Thank you Ashley for this amazing gift!
