NUTCRACKER THEME CHRISTMAS TREE

This year I went all out for Christmas decorations. There are currently five trees in my house! Can you tell how much I love it? I turned my office in a Pink Nutcracker Theme with the cutest little tree and ballerinas everywhere.

What I Got For Christmas 2014

Merry Christmas loves! This has been an amazing year and I already have everything I ever need. Love and a healthy family. When I was little the most exciting part of Christmas was opening presents. As I get older the best part of Christmas is making beautiful memories and watching others open their presents. I put a lot of thought into my presents and even made my big tough brother-in-law cry. I wish I would have recorded it but I just wanted to live in the moment. 

Early Christmas Presents

How adorable is this? My manager and co-worker gave me early Christmas presents this year. They were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. They know how much I love giving myself a mani and drinking coffee ha ha. At work I'm always applying lotion to my hands since the weather is making my skin extra dry I'm extra grateful for the lotion. It smells amazing. Thank you Melissa and Ashley! I love it. 

I love the Christmas spirit! I'm going to use my reindeer pen even after the holiday season. He's too cute! I'm sad that within a week and a half I have to take down my Christmas decor. DIY Glitter Makeup Brush Holder

After watching Ingrid's GIY (Glam It Yourself) video, on how to make this really cute glitter makeup brush holder, I couldn't wait for my candles to burn up so I could use the glass container to make one. With a few changes on how to get rid of the wax I found it faster and easier to make these and wanted to share that with you.

After burning up a candle here are a few steps to make this.

1. Heat water in a cup in the microwave for two minutes and pour in glass container.
2. After poring the water in the candle holder, put the container in the freezer for 20 minutes. Once the wax has cooled easily remove the wax and wicks. 
3. Wash the container for any residue and remove labels. With a brush add a thin layer of gloss Mod Podge, add glitter, and for extra security add a transparent sealer. I got all of these supplies from my local Walmart. 
4.  Wait several hours for it to completely dry and then it's ready to use.

My Tips

• Make sure when you apply the Mod Podge that you use a very thin layer, otherwise it can take days to dry.
• Adding boiling water in the candle will cause the candle wax to float to the top as well as the glue from the wicks. It takes less then a minute and it's fun to watch hee hee.
• Letting it cool in the freezer cuts the time in half to get started on your project ;)

• If there are any spots that you missed with glitter after it has dried, you can add another coat of Mod Podge and glitter.

I often spend my time on my vanity. This is another part of my room that makes me so happy every time I look at it. Not only are there some of the beautiful gifts given to me by people that I so dearly love, but the mono chrome colors really catch my attention.

A Christmas Gift From The Boyfriend

The perfect addition to my room!

For Christmas my boyfriend Ricardo gave me this enchanting vanity stool. For months I have been looking for a stool that was dainty, pretty, and tall enough. It's so beautiful I'm in love with it! He said I have been a good girl this year. Smile from ear to ear. Eye candy like this makes getting ready more pleasing and fun. It was definitely meant for me :) What was one of your favorite gifts this year?

Pink Christmas!

It's that time of year again! I love Christmas! Who doesn't? Ever since I moved into my own little place I haven't stopped rearranging/decorating my pad. All my Christmas decorations are pink of course! This is one of my favorite places in my living room. I wanted to dress up my dress form, which I still haven't named, the pink hat and skirt are so cute I really wanted to display them!

 As for my coffee, table I just added some pink ornaments to contrast the silver potpourri. Who says ornaments are only suppose to be displayed on the tree? I think it makes my coffee table look more festive!

Hello Kitty Collection at Forever21

I have been waiting for Hello Kitty apparel for a really long time since two seasons ago at Forever21. I could spend hours in there. I am really picky because I don't want to look too childish but still represent the girlishness in me. I'm looking forward to shopping this collection Sunday, when my girlfriends and I will be making a longer trip to a different mall, than to our usual favorite mall for an all girl's day out. Which will include breakfast ;) can't wait!

They are back in stock now! I used to be the cupcake queen and make cupcakes for any occasion and decorate them. I need to start doing that again :D

Cupcakes I made and decorated for Christmas 

I made these for a very special little girl, my boyfriend's cousin,  for her Halloween themed party.

Yeah I need to start making them again! They are very time consuming but it made me happy :D Soo totally off subject but I can't get  over how great the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part II movie was! I went to the premiere last night and ahhhh I freaked out. They threw a little surprise in there but I loved it! Very unexpected since I read all the books. Did you go see it? What did you think?
