Early Christmas Presents

How adorable is this? My manager and co-worker gave me early Christmas presents this year. They were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. They know how much I love giving myself a mani and drinking coffee ha ha. At work I'm always applying lotion to my hands since the weather is making my skin extra dry I'm extra grateful for the lotion. It smells amazing. Thank you Melissa and Ashley! I love it. 

I love the Christmas spirit! I'm going to use my reindeer pen even after the holiday season. He's too cute! I'm sad that within a week and a half I have to take down my Christmas decor. Did you loves get a chance to see it? I made the two pink pillows on the front. Check out my DIY tutorial on them.

New Mac Book Air and Pretty Little Liars Fashion

My 24th birthday is coming up within a week and my lovely Fiancé surprised me with the new MacBook Air, as an early present. It's been number one on my wish list for quite a while now. He knew how much I have been struggling using my six year old desktop. The poor thing was on it's last days.  My monitor even started changing colors. 

When he gave it to me he said some of the sweetest things. He said I really deserved some of the best technology to keep up with what I'm doing and that he is proud of me. It made me cry. His opinion means most to me. He's extremely supportive in everything that I do. 

Having a dependable computer not only helps me edit fun videos, blog, and stay connected to the web, but it's also my job. Which I love. I can't believe I didn't own a Mac computer before. It works beautifully and flawlessly. I use to debate on getting one before since the operating system is very different from Windows. It took about half an hour to get the hang of it. 

You know me, pink, pink, pink!!! Of course I had to get the keyboard pink and the protective case for it as well. I was willing to pay over $50 for it and to my surprise found it for less than that on Ebay. Thanks to Alexandra! One of my besties/love/bridesmaids.

Here is an outfit I was working on for my new video. It took me half the time to edit it since this laptop is extremely fast. How adorably chic is this crop top?

The back of the shirt is a shear heart cut out. 

I used the video editing software that was already installed in my Mac in this video. Check out what this baby can do. 

If you were in the market for a new computer I highly recommend this one! You will not regret it. It's definitely your money's worth.

Thank You Benefit Cosmetics!!!

I had the honor of meeting Carla from Benefit Cosmetics who very kindly sent me a sweet surprise in the mail. This is one of my top favorite makeup brands! They have an eminent reputation in the beauty world. When I feel like splurging at Sephora, I always make sure to stop by the Benefit counter. I literally screamed when I saw the cute box. Inside are some of the best sellers and new products as well.

The Hoola Bronzer and the Porefessional Face Primer have been on my wishlist for months now. I don't usually buy makeup unless I run out and need to replace it. I have been using them for the past two days and I can say I'm not disappointing through all of the hype. I can see why everyone loves them.

With the wet weather here in Chicago, I was also excited to see adorable branded umbrella.

 I was also delighted to see the eyeshadows. Which by the way have adorable packaging and will not be disposing yet. I heard that the cream colors are very similar to the Color Tattos by Maybelline but don't tend to crease. I don't own any eyeshadows from Benefit, but I will make sure to tell you guys how I like them.

Hello Flawless Powder Foundation | Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation

I have also been using these two foundations and have to say I am beyond impressed! The consistency of the liquid foundation is a bit watery but that just made it easier to blend. They give medium coverage.

Just came back from a long day at the vet and from grocery shopping. Ginger and my sister's new puppy Lola had a check up. I love my Sisi she is so much fun to hang out with. We also eat our addiction, frozen yogurt. My Fiance is going to love me, I stocked up on his favorites drinks in the fridge for whenever he comes over.

Beautiful Engament Gift

This beautiful engagement gift from Eileen at Romwe.com brought me to tears. I received it in the mail. She took the time to to put our engagement pictures in each of the hearts. I don't have them framed yet so this was perfect. I thought this extremely unique and thoughtful. She made me feel very special. It sits on top of my entertainment system in my living room and I can't stop starring at it. 

The small details like the pictures, the writing, and the pink rhinestones meant so much to me. I think it's pretty cool that she reads my blog. Thank you very much Eileen we both loved this gift very much and once we buy our first home together this will be in our living room for many years.

What's Inside My Easter Baskets?

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Not just on this holy day do I like to say thanks for having positive, encouraging, supportive, and loving people in my life, but every day I like to remember to be grateful. I feel very blessed to be surrounded by amazing family and friends. They make me feel special and loved. 

As a child on Easter day my family would get up early, go to church, and have a delicious home cooked dinner. It was nice, but we didn't have an egg hunt or get Easter baskets. When your that young those are the fun things to look forward to. I have always had a big sweet tooth. Both of my best friends know that and this year they surprised me with baskets full of goodies. It really touched my heart how they personalized it as well as how much they really know me.

Ashley knows how much I love Hello Kitty! Can this basket be any more cute?

Inside instead of eggs she wrapped all kinds of my favorite candy in little cupcakes. Like Butterfinger eggs! Yum! I love to bake cupcakes and decorate them. She was the one who taught me how to make them just right. I guess Ginger loves them too. I see with my little eye something furry. She knows my favorite princess movie is "The Little Mermaid", my love for tamarindo dulce, and how I always gravitate towards anything patterned chevron striped. 

She also included this dainty cross bracelet. She got one for herself and one for me. It couldn't have been more perfect for today.  We both wore ours that same day. 

 After we eat dinner with my Fiance's family we went over Leo and Alex's house. Their family is always so warm and welcoming. 

 Inside she spoiled me with chocolate and colorful peeps.Our favorite! I already eat a lot of it..  hee hee. She knows my love for candles, stud earrings, Lauren Conrad's Style, and my obsession with the colors of mint/teal.

Their friendship means the world to me. I love and appreciate everything they do. They made me feel very special. I am truly blessed.

Gifts For Him

I decorated all of Ricardo's gifts by personalizing each box. I have a drawer full of stickers, decals, and ribbon for these special occasions ;)

Every year he know he gets his customized candy box full of his favorite chocolates. I think it's more special that way. His favorite kind of jogging pants, since he rarely gets to dress down anymore, a new wallet, and a tie for work.

Sweet Surprise!

One of my best friends on YouTube, Rhonda aka Dotlash, surprised me with a box full of goodies as a Holiday gift. Ahhh!! I loved everything. Her personal letter just about made me cry. Without Rhonda, 2012 wouldn't have been one of the most amazing years of my life. She is the sweetest thing ever and she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. 

The way everything was wrapped was too cute for words! I didn't want to ruin the way she packaged them. My two favorite colors are pink and turquoise/mint.  Her sister, who works at Vix Paula Hermanny, also sent me a very touching letter and presents, along with a catalog that she wrote!

 She made everything so personal and included little notes to each item. Everything described me so well. She went above and beyond! She gave me my very first Dior nail polish in my favorite color pink. She made the picture frame, which is actually a mini chalk board to write notes on. How cool is that?!? I freaked out! You spoil me Rhonda.

I just loved everything! I feel very blessed to have supportive people in my life like Rhonda. She has made YouTube a wonder experience for me and we can't wait to go to IMATS together in the summer! Since we are both partners with Style Haul we are so excited to attend the party they host every year as well.

A Christmas Gift From The Boyfriend

The perfect addition to my room!

For Christmas my boyfriend Ricardo gave me this enchanting vanity stool. For months I have been looking for a stool that was dainty, pretty, and tall enough. It's so beautiful I'm in love with it! He said I have been a good girl this year. Smile from ear to ear. Eye candy like this makes getting ready more pleasing and fun. It was definitely meant for me :) What was one of your favorite gifts this year?

What is a "Swap" on Youtube?

A Swap on YouTube, is when two beauty gurus on YouTube, set a spending budget  to buy each other goodies, and ship them out without letting each other know what they got for one another. It's suppose to be a surprise. Once they receive the package they open it while recording to see their first reaction to everything. It's almost like a secret Santa or grab bag without needing to be Christmas. It's just as much fun to see what they received as it is for them to open it. 

The purpose of the video is to entertain as well as to collaborate by making a video that will hold the viewers attention and watch the other guru's video to see what they got too.

I use to watch these all the time and always thought about what I would get someone if I did a swap. I love to see their first initial reaction! I'm so glad Melanie and I decided to do one. We are such good friends and have been for a really long time.

  Shopping was hard for me because whenever I picked something out for her I wanted one for myself too. I knew if I loved it she would too. 

 I wrapped everything individually for fun, to look presentable, and also to protect through the shipping process. Those guys just through everything around.

 I made this card for Melanie from scratch. Yeah.. I'm a granny I love art, crafts, and scrapbooking hee hee, but it does come in handy!

 I also gave her a little guide to make unwrapping fun!

 Melanie teased me on Instagram by posting this picture up before she shipped it out to me! I was ten times more excited when she did!

I love how she wrapped everything!!! It's PINK! It was so cute and thoughtful! She put cute little clues that rhymed on every item. She really spoiled me! 

I can't believe she got me all of these things. She really loves me :D I feel so special!  This was so much fun! Everything is so new to me and I can't wait to play with it all. You will be seeing a lot more tutorials coming soon lol. If you are doing a swap in the future I hope this helped. It's past my bed time but I couldn't go to sleep without posting this up.
