I love do-it-yourself projects, crafts, and decorating my planner. Yes, I am a grandma stuck inside a 25 year old body ha ha. I love personalizing things to my taste and when I can't find something in store or online I make it myself. I need a place to store my pink glue guns, fabric, and stickers. My planner supplies addiction has also gone too far and I needed some major organization and a solution to store them all. 

New Cute Case For My Planner

Hi Loves! I have a new haul to share with you guys. This will be a lot easier to find, since they are at big chain stores. I am mostly excited about this cosmetic bag that perfectly fits a lot more pens and fun sticky notes than necessary. Everyone from the Facebook group, "We Love EC", have been raving about how amazing it is. So of course I caved and got it too. It's incredibly cute and better quality than the one I currently have my goodies in. 

I am not sure if this is new or not, but Joann Fabrics has a dollar spot with a bunch of fun sticky notes and washi tape. Wait, whaaaaat? (my minion voice). Yes, that's right! To make this even more exciting I got all of these for 40% off since they are currently having an amazing sale this week. 

The stickers have really thick glitter on them and it doesn't come off if they touch something. Which is great because I'm sure you don't have glitter all over you hands or planner. 

I got all of this at Target today. My favorite mascara had to make it in here too, ha ha, I ran out. I wish this exact bag came in different patterns, but I don't mind this one. The birds and colors really stand out and I absolutely love it. I had to hunt this one down in three different Targets. Good luck trying to find it at your local Target.

I can't believe I got another planner. I know, completely unnecessary, but the new 2014-2015 life planner came out and I just couldn't resist the interchangeable covers.  I became obsessed with the Erin Condren life planners about half a year ago. No other planner has anything like this one. I mean come on, interchangeable covers? 

I designed my own cover this time with pictures that may seem familiar from my Instagram. I love that they are all special memories in my life. If you want to design your own use a template that measures 8"x10". The band around the planner is glittery head band I got from h&m. It's the same size as the Erin Condren bands. 

This is the design I made and uploaded to the site to make the cover for me. I originally used an 8"x11" template and put a pretty border around it since the picture should be an inch shorter in length. 

I switched everything over to the new one as soon as I got it. It took me about four hours but I had so much doing it. I have a lot of information in my notes section, and important dates I need to remember.  Ricardo asked me, "are you Erin Condrening again?". That's what he calls it when I'm in my decorating zone and organizing my planner ha ha. This is what I came up with so far.

I have been sucked into the "decorating your planner" trend that apparently has been going on for a long time. There's nothing like personalizing your planner and making it appear cute/fun to encourage you to stay organized. I have had planners over the years and they have literally brought down my stress by about 90%. One way that helped me stay motivated to use it was to decorate it by simply using different colored pens. It gave me an excuse to to use my fun jelly pens.
