The Best Fashion Shops Online!

Winter is coming and baby, I'm ready! It's so hard to dress cute when you are covered in layers of clothing trying to stay warm. With these accessories and closet staples you are sure to turn heads without scarifying warmth. I don't know about you, but It can be really hard for me to find those adorable pieces. These are some of the best online shops that don't break the bank.

Like I mentioned in my fashion haul video, I love wearing denim shirts! This is the video I was talking about. This video was a collaboration with Maybelline New York. It's a huge honor and dream to be a brand ambassador for this amazing company. It's great that I can share with you guy guys how to can look still look glam using drugstore brands that are extremely affordable. You can find all of the makeup items here!

Here's a little something extra when you have been a "good girl" lol. That's what I call it to make the purchase feel less guilty. The beautiful wallet was a very sweet and personal gift from the team at Markkit last Christmas. For the past year I told myself I this would be my next big accessory purchase and haven't found it until now. If you want a classic beauty that will last you a lifetime, definitely invest in Tory Burch.

Four Affordable Outfits For Back To School!

It’s that time of year again for some of you. The best part about going back to school is not only seeing your friends again on a regular basis, but also shopping, especially for clothes. Make a statement this year and stand out! Here are four super affordable outfits, all from the new ArizonaJeans Co. line.

The first outfit features this gorgeous plum-colored skirt, which is great for those days when you want to dress up or simply channel that girlie girl inside of you. When I was shopping for it, I also saw it in navy blue, and I almost got both.

I love wearing heels. They make your legs look great, and they make you stand up straighter. They always give me that boost of confidence. The second outfit includes these chunky heels with a long dress and comfortable cardigan to dress it down a bit for an everyday look. I love pairing lace with leather (well, faux leather in this case), two textures to contrast and stand out.

If pure comfort is more of your style, then this is the outfit for you. It’s simple yet fun and colorful. A plaid shirt can be very versatile; you can try adding a cute shirt underneath, like this graphic tee. I want these shoes in every color now! They are super cute and easy to wear. I normally don’t wear jeans, since denim feels really stiff. The new Arizona jeans are soft and stretchable, making them very flattering on any body type.

The last outfit is very warm and great to transition through the next seasons. I have been obsessing over the floral prints, and this sweater is perfect for Fall. The material is very thin and comfortable yet cozy.

Which outfit best describes your fashion style? You can get them all at JCPenney, where you can always find a great deal. Right now, the store also has a lot of back-to-school sales so hurry!

New Maybelline Bleached Neons Nail Polish

If you follow me on Instagram, you beauties witnessed my excitement after receiving a sweet surprise from Maybelline. I am ecstatic that Maybelline watches my videos. I also squealed a bit when they commented on this picture. They were very generous and gave me a big box full of goodies, including the whole new line from the Bleached Neons collection. I was like a little kid in a candy store and tried so many products that same day. I was in heaven! Here are the nail polishes I got and of course had to try them as well.

Purple is never really my number one pick when it comes to nail polish, but just look at this beauty! This shade is hands down my favorite shade of lilac. It stands out so much on my skin and I have received a numerous amount of compliments. It's very bright and great for Spring/Summer. As for the bow, I can't remove it on my own since I have a coat of gel on that nail to keep it on. I have to go back to get it removed so I won't damage my nail...but it looks cute so I don't mind.

Earlier today Ricardo helped me film a fashion video which will be live within the next two weeks. It was way too cold to keep shooting the rest of the outfits so we only did two outfits. We'll film the rest on a better day. Here's a sneak peak. Make sure to check out the rest of my collection and use "BELINDALOVE" for 20% off your purchase on Markkit.

We are heading to our friends house for a night of games. I truly love all of the people we surround ourselves with. Positive, loving, genuine, people are those who make life beautiful. Talk you loves later!

Tuesday Treats: A little bling!

Shoplately has some of the most unique jewelry and accessories. Sellers like COB & PEN, QQLemon, Daisy Gem, and Glint and Gleam keep up with a great price and quality. Here's a little haul I wanted to share with you. The colors I choose are more Spring appropriete. Can't wait for Spring to arrive with all of the sunshine, and ranunculus flowers to blossom.

Thick chains have been trending a lot lately and I loved how a tassel a little more glamour. It hangs so delicately and makes a big statement. It is inspired by Coco Chanel. Love me some arm candy. Shoplately gives me beautiful conversation starter pieces.

Mint/teal will forever be one of my favorite colors. I got this piece in advance before it sold out. I prefer a darker tone of gold though. I'm not a big fan a yellow gold. It tends to make things look cheap if your know what I mean. Nonetheless I still love it and can't wait to wear it! I'm very happy with what I got.

One of my favorite things to do in the morning before heading off to work is to cuddle with my lazy doggie. She loves laying on me no matter how uncomfortable and  awkward it is for her. Little things like this make me very happy and I enjoy life a little more.

How To Style: Combat Boots ft. Pink and Pepper

Combat boots have been very popular lately! They are no longer only described as the rebel shoe. Combat boots can fit in any fashion category. It was a challenge for me to style them with the girly wardrobe I have. Fashion is about making a statement, expressing yourself without words, and it's always okay to step out of our comfort zone. You never know if you'll love it until you try it!

As 2013 Miss Pink I would love to share four looks wearing these cute combat boots.

At the beginning of this year I entered a contest hosted by Pink and Pepper to be brand ambassador for the year 2013. I along with Julie Khuu were the chosen winners. It was the most exciting thing! The graphic announcement made it even better. You guys know my unhealthy obsession with the color pink. Can you imagine how happy I am to be "Miss Pink"? Every month I get the privilege to choose a pair of shoes of my choice, and I need your help! I would love to hear your feedback! Let me know if there's a shoe you would like for me to style. Feel free to hop on over to their website and browse through their shoes.

Styling Winter Sweaters

Stand Out!

It's Winter time! Most of us find it hard to look cute under all of those layers of clothing. If you live in the Northern states like I do then  most of your wardrobe consists of unflattering boring sweaters. These are some of the most unique sweaters I have came across. I am so in love with them, especially with the small details. Stand apart from your friends and show them your personality in your outfit. For example lace adds a touch of femininity without exposing skin and staying warm. Spikes on the shoulders add a chic and rocker look while wearing a bright fun color. Let's play dress up in my closet, I want to show you how I style them.

Sweater $32 | Necklace (JcPenney) $12 | Sweater Thights (Marshalls) $7 | Booties (Target) $35

Sweater  $46.99 | Grey Pants (JcPenney) $10 | Hamilton Micheal Kors Boots $265 | Gold Rose Bracelet $18 | Mint Chain Bracelet (DIY) | Bcbgeneration Bracelet (Macy's) $18

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ACCESSORIES!

If you have a plane Jane sweater spice it up with bold accessories, enhance the details. Most of the time outfits are just not complete without accessories that make that one simple top stand out. I also love adding a bright lip. Don't be afraid to experiment, after all the world is your runway. You never now who you may have inspired ;)

Sweater $25 | Jeggings (Mashalls) $12 | Rampage Boots (Macy's) $65 | Quilted Handbag $32.99 | Silver Cross Bracelet $20 | Red Bangles (WetSeal) $5 | Black Thick Chain Bracelet $18| Sephora Rouge The Red 04 Lipstick $12

Sweater (American Eagle) $24 | Black Bubble Necklace $24 | Thermal Tights (TJMaxx) $7 | Leg Warmers (Hollister) $24 | Rampage Boots (Macy's) $65 | Nars Schiap Lipstick $24

Send me a picture of your favorite Winter outfit on my Facebook, Twitter, or Hash Tag me under #BelindaSelene on Instagram. I would love to see them!

Much Love,

My Style: Casual Peplum

  (Clockwise from top)

Jacket Forever21 | H&M Blouse | Bracelet's DIY | Black Rider Boots Rampage | Pale Gray Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac | Levis

Most leather jackets can make your body look "boxy". They don't flatter your body shape. A black leather jacket is a staple in every girl's closet. When I spotted this baby at Forever21 there was no question to get it. The peplum style of this faux leather jacket caught my attention from across the store. One of the main reasons why the peplum style is very popular is the fact that it can compliment just about anyone's body type. It adds curves to girls with smaller hips and gives the appearance of  a smaller waist, by the ruffles, to those who want a defined waist line.

This Forever21 jacket is similar to the Alexander McQueen's Jacket for about 3k less ;)

This was my Saturday night outfit perfect for a night out in the city with the boyfriend and friends. The food was interesting and the cool dimmed atmosphere was nice. Ricardo and my little Gingi are napping I think I might join them, they look so comfy.

Much Love,
Belinda

Cowgirl Boots! Ft. RetroCity Sunglasses

Leather/Faux Leather is an essential fabric to your Fall fashion wardrobe. It is very warm, stylish, edgy, yet sophisticated, depending on how you pair it. Many of us want to match our leather accessories to the same color, but sometimes we can over do it. Try and balance it out by pairing two different colors of leather. The trick for me is the hardware. I just make sure it all matches, either all bronze, gold, or silver.

I recently purchased these boots and I love them! What sold me was the cute tassel on the sides. It also matches this really laid back cross body purse. (My new favorite style of purses).  I love the color of it! I was originally going to buy the cowgirl boots from Target, but they sold out everywhere, even online! They were on my wish list for a long time. About a month later my bestie Ashley and I found them at Kmart in a better color too. Wooo hoo!

These cute aviator sunglasses are from RetroCity Sunglasses.com. The company sent them to me to share with you. (I have a giveaway on my YouTube channel MissBel01xox) The Ombre effect on the front compliments my skin tone and hair color. Quick tip: Because my hair is black the brown glasses contrasts it and stands out.  I think they bring my whole outfit together!

What I'm wearing
Jacket: Express (Last year's season)
Shirt: H&M (Last season)
Shorts (DIY Distressed Shorts)
Boots: Kmart (Recently bought)
Crossbody Bag (Thrifted)

My Style: Fav Booties and Crossbody Bag

Crossbody bags/satchels and Boots have been my most reached for fashion items since the season started.
I have been noticing that I more often reach for a cross-body bag than a large purse. I still love large purses (you can fit anything in them!), but I think it's less of a hassle when you don't have to carry something heavy on your arms or shoulders. They're definitely starting to trend because I see cuter satchels and cross-body bags than regular purses at times. I'm not gonna lie I, when I was really young, I thought they were only for old ladies. I guess I'm an old lady now, because my collection is getting bigger. I am still on a hunt for the perfect pale grey satchel, with silver hardware, and a silver chain strap.

If I could live in boots for the rest of my life I would. Anything from rider, ankle, thigh-high, knee, or even rain boots, I love them all. (During Summer I'm already stocking up on them for Fall hee hee.) That probably has to be one of my favorite things about the colder weather.

What I'm wearing:
  • Booties - Target
  • Jill Crossbody Bag - Guess
  • Sweater- Guess
  • Pants - H&M
  • Blouse - Hollister
  • Forever Yummy Nail Polish - Essie
Follow me on Instagram @MissBelindaxox

I'm also wearing this gorgeous lip color that came in MyGlam/ipsy bag for the month of October. I can't stop raving how much I love it! It's so opaque and creamy, but not sticky. I wore it in the afternoon and it stayed on, without chapping my lips, all day until night time. It's not a sample size, it was full size. I definitely got my money's worth this month, because it originally retails for $35!

I would love to hear what you though of your Glam Bag/ipsy bag this month and what you are mostly reaching for in your closet this season. Gotta get ready for brunch and shopping with some girlfriends. I haven't even changed from my pj's ahhh.

Much love,
Belinda
