What's Inside My Purse!

I'm always curious to see what women bring with them in their purses aside from the usual phone, keys, and wallet. I think that's why those "What's in my purse", videos are addicting.  There are a couple of necessities I must carry with me at all times. You know just in case there is a natural disaster like a blizzard bringing in  six feet of snow, or a tornado that will bring Dorothy, or even rain that will flood our city like Godzilla is coming out of Lake Michigan. Anything can happen where I live, it's all four season this week alone. Ha ha okay I may have exaggerated a bit but some these items are "if you were stuck on an deserted island" type of products.

Cute Outfit For Valentines Day

Valentines Day should be a day everyone can enjoy. Your Valentine should be someone you love, not just a boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, or husband. It can also be your Mom, bestie, or sibling. It's a day to make someone feel special. During the day while the hubby is working I sometimes spend the morning with a friend and we give each other sweet little gifts, and then go out for a nice dinner with Ricardo. We don't make this day a big deal. As long as Ricardo and I make each other feel a little more special on this day and make it fun that's all that counts. We celebrate our love for one another many times during the year not just this day. Remember to alway make each other feel special not just on Valentine's Day. It's still fun to dress up cute and enjoy the day. So here is my out of the ordinary outfit to stand out on this holiday.

It's sweater weather! I love snuggling in a warm cozy sweater. I wanted to share with you a few different ways I like to style my sweaters wether it's a sweater dress, cardigan, or a pullover. My main reason for loving an oversized sweater is so that I can eat as much as I want and not have to worry about looking bloated ha ha.

Four Affordable Outfits For Back To School!

It’s that time of year again for some of you. The best part about going back to school is not only seeing your friends again on a regular basis, but also shopping, especially for clothes. Make a statement this year and stand out! Here are four super affordable outfits, all from the new ArizonaJeans Co. line.

The first outfit features this gorgeous plum-colored skirt, which is great for those days when you want to dress up or simply channel that girlie girl inside of you. When I was shopping for it, I also saw it in navy blue, and I almost got both.

I love wearing heels. They make your legs look great, and they make you stand up straighter. They always give me that boost of confidence. The second outfit includes these chunky heels with a long dress and comfortable cardigan to dress it down a bit for an everyday look. I love pairing lace with leather (well, faux leather in this case), two textures to contrast and stand out.

As Summer is coming to an end I'm on a hunt for a new staple in my closet and signature scent. One that I can wear all throughout Fall and into the Winter. New Maybelline Bleached Neons Nail Polish

If you follow me on Instagram, you beauties witnessed my excitement after receiving a sweet surprise from Maybelline. I am ecstatic that Maybelline watches my videos. I also squealed a bit when they commented on this picture. They were very generous and gave me a big box full of goodies, including the whole new line from the Bleached Neons collection. I was like a little kid in a candy store and tried so many products that same day. I was in heaven! Here are the nail polishes I got and of course had to try them as well. 

Purple is never really my number one pick when it comes to nail polish, but just look at this beauty! This shade is hands down my favorite shade of lilac. It stands out so much on my skin and I have received a numerous amount of compliments. It's very bright and great for Spring/Summer. As for the bow, I can't remove it on my own since I have a coat of gel on that nail to keep it on. I have to go back to get it removed so I won't damage my nail...but it looks cute so I don't mind. 

Earlier today Ricardo helped me film a fashion video which will be live within the next two weeks. It was way too cold to keep shooting the rest of the outfits so we only did two outfits. Valentine's Day Treats!

Happy Valentines Day sweeties! I hope you got spoiled with love today! Ricardo made me feel extra special today. I'm a lucky girl. I had to work today which didn't leave much time for a full day together, but we still managed to have a delicious dinner together. He also sent chocolate covered strawberries to my job with a heart melting message that read, "Baby I love you and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!"

Style Challenge: Bodycon Dress

Part of getting ready and choosing out my outfit for the day is half the fun. You should see my closet when I'm done hee hee, it's like a tornado came through. Indulgera put me to challenge! I was sent a bodycon dress to style from morning wear to a night time wear.

Can we just talk about how adorably chic it was packaged. It made me that much more excited to style it! Indulgera is an online boutique shop with unique pieces for the "it girl". The dresses can transition for different events, like brunch out with your girlfriends to a date night. I  breath fashion, and often get inspired by colors. Depending on my mood and weather, of course. It was fun and interesting working with two different looks. My sense of fashion is very girly and playful, I think that's why I love to wear skirts.

Tuesday Treats: A little bling!

Shoplately has some of the most unique jewelry and accessories. Sellers like COB & PEN, QQLemon, Daisy Gem, and Glint and Gleam keep up with a great price and quality. Here's a little haul I wanted to share with you. The colors I choose are more Spring appropriete. Can't wait for Spring to arrive with all of the sunshine, and ranunculus flowers to blossom. 

Thick chains have been trending a lot lately and I loved how a tassel a little more glamour. It hangs so delicately and makes a big statement. It is inspired by Coco Chanel. Love me some arm candy. Shoplately gives me beautiful conversation starter pieces.  

Mint/teal will forever be one of my favorite colors. I got this piece in advance before it sold out. I prefer a darker tone of gold though. I'm not a big fan a yellow gold. It tends to make things look cheap if your know what I mean. Nonetheless I still love it and can't wait to wear it! I'm very happy with what I got. 

One of my favorite things to do in the morning before heading off to work is to cuddle with my lazy doggie. She loves laying on me no matter how uncomfortable and  awkward it is for her. Little things like this make me very happy and I enjoy life a little more.

Oh So FAB! Riva Heels

Riva Heels $39.95

How stunning are these heels. These are sure to turn heads. They are part of the new arrivals from January and already sold out. I can definitely see why. They are extremely unique and extremely chic. A new staple to my flirty wardrobe.

COMFORT

Five inch heels are not very comfortable for me, but these don't feel too high. I can bear wearing these for a night out. Beauty is pain. I would recommend these to gals with a little more experience in walking in high heels. If your not used to the height, practice walking in them at home. 

 The only downside is that since there is no platform to reduce the impact while walking they may start hurting after a short period of time. The whole shoe is stiff, which doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room around the ankle. They need to be broken in. 

QUALITY

You would never know they are faux leather. They are extremely firm and have great structure. None of the stitching is visible and it's made well. They are true to size. 

STYLE

You can easily style these with anything. I can picture these with a pair of denim jeans and white t-shirt, or a high waited skater skirt with a cute sweater.  All I need now is for it to get a little warmer outside to rock these bad boys. They are not snow friendly. 

Once the weather cooperates, I will be posting a couple of outfits with the Riva heels. This is the outfit I wanted to wear yesterday, but there's still snow on the ground. Instead I had to settle for riding boots. On my way to Church soon and then lunch with some of my bridesmaids.
