After watching Ingrid's GIY (Glam It Yourself) video, on how to make this really cute glitter makeup brush holder, I couldn't wait for my candles to burn up so I could use the glass container to make one. With a few changes on how to get rid of the wax I found it faster and easier to make these and wanted to share that with you.
After burning up a candle here are a few steps to make this.
Heat water in a cup in the microwave for two minutes and pour in glass container.
After poring the water in the candle holder, put the container in the freezer for 20 minutes. Once the wax has cooled easily remove the wax and wicks.
Wash the container for any residue and remove labels. With a brush add a thin layer of gloss Mod Podge, add glitter, and for extra security add a transparent sealer. I got all of these supplies from my local Walmart.
Wait several hours for it to completely dry and then it's ready to use.
My Tips
Make sure when you apply the Mod Podge that you use a very thin layer, otherwise it can take days to dry.
Adding boiling water in the candle will cause the candle wax to float to the top as well as the glue from the wicks. It takes less then a minute and it's fun to watch hee hee.
Letting it cool in the freezer cuts the time in half to get started on your project ;)
If there are any spots that you missed with glitter after it has dried, you can add another coat of Mod Podge and glitter.
I love Ingrid! Make sure to check out her YouTube channel, MissGlamorazzi, for more GIY videos.
I hope my little tips helped. I have already made two of these as gifts!
Presentation means a lot to me. I love to be surrounded by all things pretty even if it's only for my eyes. A year ago I came up with the idea of displaying my brushes like this.
I often spend my time on my vanity. This is another part of my room that makes me so happy every time I look at it. Not only are there some of the beautiful gifts given to me by people that I so dearly love, but the mono chrome colors really catch my attention.
I just posted this video on steps how to create your own glamorous wall art. I think this is super easy, inexpensive, and fast! My walls were so bare I had a hard time looking for something my taste. If I can't find something in store I just make it myself lol. There are unlimited designs for any theme of any room.
Here is the logo I used. I googled it, but had a hard time finding one with more pixels. To save you the trouble here it is! Right click and save to your computer! Easy as pie!
Here are some pictures of my cozy pad.

Here is a simple and decorative way to store and display your nail polishes. I like that you can see the nail polishes through the glass container. I don't have much wall space for a storage rack like most people do.
I need an alternative to a rack that wouldn't take much space. I had this glass container since Christmas, and I used it as decoration. I recently found it again and decided to store my nail polishes in it. I think it looks very pretty specially as a decoration.
You can use any large glass containers! They sell a variety at your local Marshall's, TJMaxx, HomeGoods, or Target.
The only downfall is that you have to dig through the jar if one nail polish you want to use is at the bottom. Besides, that I think it looks wonderful! Just put your favorite nail polishes on the top! As you can probably tell my favorite shades are pink!!!
Send me a picture to my twitter or Instagram how you like to store you nail polishes :D
The first and only time I walked into Hobby Lobby I couldn't leave empty handed. One of my true passions is interior designing. I was looking for a present for my mommie. As soon as I walked through the doors I saw this in a stand with other shiny items and ran to it. Ricardo says that I'm like a cat hee hee, that when I see something either blingy or pink it distracts my attention and go right towards it.
She has been wanting a perfume tray for a very long time. It was a perfect size for her too. It was $24.99. They carry different sizes and shapes as well. I think this is a perfect touch for any room because it matches with everything.
DAMASK MANNEQUIN
When I saw this mannequin, I fell in love with it! Specially because it's a damask design! I found her (yes, I think it's a her lol) at Hobby Lobby. I tried to look for a link online but I can't find one. Hopefully you can find her at your local store. It retails for $79.99. I think that's a pretty good price. I want to name her! What should be her name? I think it would be better if you guys decide!
Not only is this mannequin a great accent piece to decorate any girly room, it can also inspire your wardrobe for the season. Add your favorite fashion piece, weather it's a necklace, purse, scarf, and or top/dress to display.
INSPIRATION RACK
Even though I do have a small little room I recreated into my Closet, I still wanted a small inexpensive one in my actual bedroom. This is what I like to call an inspiration rack. I wanted to display and store my favorite pieces of the season. Whenever I store them in my closet they tend to get lost with the rest of my clothes and I forget what I bought. Out of sight out of mind. Since it was going in my room I wanted the the rack to match the theme of my room as much as possible, the colors for example. I didn't want it to look messy or cluttered. I achieved this by purchasing the rack in black/silver finishes and the hangers in pink!
This rack was inspired by two of my favorite YouTube beauty/fashion gurus, Elle Fowler from AllThatGlitters21 and Dulce from DulceCandy87. First I saw Dulce's Fashion Haul video, and I loved how presentable and organized it all looked. I thought this was a great way to store my clothes while in the process of making my next fashion haul videos to share with you beauties. As some of you know before I got this rack I used to store them in a small pink box in the corner of my room. All of the clothes would be wrinkled by the time I had time to show you guys.
Once I saw Elle's Fashion Rack Tour video I decided to get it. She showed me that it can not only look pretty, but also give you inspiration in your everyday wardrobe by displaying your favorite fashion pieces. That same week I went out and bought the hangers from Marshalls, the rack from Target, as well as the pink and black cubbies.
As you can see I love love love light shades of pinks, nudes, turquoise, and mint greens this spring and summer season. I like to keep my favorites fashion pieces in my inspiration rack as well as anything new I have bought for future fashion haul videos on my YouTube channel. Inside of my pink and black cubbies I store/display shoes that I love at the moment, my current purse, or any new purchases that can't go on a hanger.
Pink and White Rose Vase
My accent color is pink (ofcourse!) This pink an white rose vase really stands out against my black wall and black entertainment center. I bought this vase at TJ Maxx for $16.99 (in my Room Decor Haul video I accidentally said Marshalls oops!...). I love it so much!

I love this dressing table by Ikea from the Malm Series. It holds all of my makeup I don't have nearly what some other YouTube gurus may have, but I have what I would say every makeup lover would. I tried to balance everything out by incorporating pink items on top of my vanity :D
