New Nail Polish Line From JustFab

Which is one of the many reasons why I love nail polish so much!

To start off, they have a great color selection and are a higher quality of nail polish. Plus the packaging is adorable. I was very impressed with the 2-IN-1 top & base coat nail polish formula. It dried my nail polish a lot faster and helped the embellishments on my nails last longer too. Usually they will fall of within two to three days depending on the activity. They have surprisingly lasted for seven days now. 

Normally I change my nail polish about every three days. Lately I have been so busy I barely have to sleep, let alone paint my nails. I'm glad I polished them with PainFab and didn't have to worry about chipped nails. 

It's currently two in the morning, but just had to share with you loves about this new and cute nail polish line. Gingi is sleeping on my lap and looks adorable. I want to squeeze her I should probably go to sleep but I'm about to paint my nails again ha ha. Tomorrow my Sisi and I are going shoe shopping for my wedding eek! The big day  is getting closer and closer. I also just got the wedding invitations in from Wedding Paper Divas. I'll make sure to make a post and video on them. Your going to love them, they are beyond beautiful!

Up late tonight  catching up on my work. I love what I do! I wanted to share with you loves some cute/rocker flats that spice up a casual look. Ordinary flats tend to bore me at times, I prefer wearing something with detail if I'm just wearing some skinnies and a cute simple sweater.

I also love wearing studs on my on my nails. It makes your mani look professionally done. I have gotten so many compliments on this nail art lately. The application is really easy. Just dab a dot of a clear top coat nail polish, I recommend Seche Vite, where you want to place the stud. Then coat the entire nail with the clear coat. Depending on your activity they may fall off. The studs on my thumbs fell a lot faster. Regardless they are glamorous and worth the extra time to apply them.

How fabulous are these nail wraps? Ahhh! Supahhh cute! I haven't seen these in stores yet, but you bet I'm heading to Target or CVS tomorrow. I don't know how much they are since I couldn't find them online. They might be on the pricey side but as long as they are under $10 I'm getting at least two of them, the 24k Brocade and Gilded Mosaic . If you think about it people pay $20 for a single manicure so it doesn't hurt me to get these. Which ones are your favorites? 

It's way past my bed time. I have to get up early tomorrow and film my glamorous favorites wink wink. I'm also going to try on wedding dresses for the first time. I'm already starting to get emotional. I'm going to be a mess ha ha.

Marc Jacobs Nail Polish

Last night was one of the most relaxing nights I have had in a very long time. I have been stressing for the past several weeks over my Mom, work, wedding planning, and social life. I have mentioned many times before how lighting a candle in my pjs at night,  and catching up on my favorite recorded shows while painting my nails is therapeutic for me. It works. I think that's where my obsession with nail polish comes from. Freshly chic painted nails make me smile. 

I also feel like I have been lacking on my videos lately. Creating entertaining content for you guys is very fun but a lot of work. Some people may not realize how many hours it takes to put up a two minute video. I don't like just putting a video together last minute. I have been meaning to finish a fun DIY video as well as a home decor video. I promise those will be up soon. None the less I appreciate your support and understanding. You have no idea how a simple comment makes my day. 

Just wanted to give you guys a little update on my life. I enjoyed painting my nails last night and used the tools that came in my September BlackBox. 

One of the  nail polishes I used was this gorgeous one by Marc Jacobs from their new cosmetic line at Sephora. It runs quite pricey but I love the formula. It dried really fast and hasn't chipped yet. I don't have a pretty go-to nude color like this in my collection, and have been searching for one for a while. I'm glad I found this one because it doesn't make my hands look dead. 

Later on today Ricardo is going to help me film a fun fashion video that was requested by you guys. I'll talk you soon!

Fall Beauty Staples

Fall is slowly creeping up on us and since it's my second favorite season I want to be prepared. It means apple cider lit candles under a warm blanket with a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks in your hand.  When the leaves are turning those beautiful hues of red it inspires me to update not only my wardrobe but my beauty products as well. It's time for shadowed eyes and vampy lips. Though I am of a darker olive skin tone, I still turn pale with cooler climates. Nothing looks more gorgeous than the look of burgundy lips.

I was in the city this morning and after a meeting, I went on a little shopping trip for what will become my Fall Staples. I made a little investment on some luxurious lippies as well as nail polishes. 

For nail polishes I choose these three. I can picture this Marc Jacobs nail polish with a gold accent nail for a classic look. After watching That's Heart video I have been on a hunt for this beautiful green shade from Topshop. It will be that pop of color I need when I pair darker outfits. 

Marc Jacobs cosmetics recently launched early August 2013. I want to go back and try out more of this new line at Sephora.

The most luxurious lipstick added to my collection. The packaging itself makes you feel glamorous. It is made out of the same genuine leather that their hand bags are made out of. I needed a lip color I could wear on a daily basis. 

Ives Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte - #12 Forbidden Burgundy $34.00

This is the perfect shade of burgundy I was originally on a hunt for. YSL makes some of the most long lasting lipsticks. Not only are they  soft on your skin, they are never sticky, and you forget your wearing lipstick. 

I put it on while I was testing it at Sephora, and even after having lunch and hydrating though out the day, with my bottled water, five  hours later it was still on my lips. A little faded but I like how it stained my lips. Don't mind how tiered I look hee hee.

Best Glitter Nail Polishes!

I can't believe I just found out about these gorgeous glitter nail polishes. They aren't your usual silver or gold one-size glitter polishes, they are densely packed with a variety of glitters and colors in an opaque formula for the perfect mani. 

As I was browsing through Walmart in the Hard Candy isle for a lip stain I came across their nail polishes. I was immediately drawn to the cute packaging. You know me and pretty things. They had a large variety of colors that I have never seen before. The glitter polishes are my favorite. I picked up one and went back the next day for two more. 

I combined Hard Candy's "Hip Hip Hooray" with Nicole by OPI "Pretty In Plum", from Selena's line. Which came in my last month's Ipsy bag. I used two coats of the Hard Candy glitter polish. 

For $4 I think it's an amazing deal. There are no other nail polishes I have came across that look anything like these. I am still on the hunt for BlackTieOptional. I don't want to pay shipping online and hope they restock it soon in my local area. 

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Make everyday special. I'm writing this post from the hospital today while taking care of my mami.  She's doing better than she was two days ago. Hopefully they figure out what's wrong so we can take her home. It hurts to  see her in pain and attached to all of these gadgets. Right now she's finally able to rest so that's good news. You guys have no idea how much your sweet comments have been helping me get through this.

Inspiration In Small Corners

Over stacked with fashion magazines on my living room side table. So much inspiration in one little corner. 

Though I often get tiered of wearing the same polish on my nails, and change it about every three days, I really liked this fun design I made on my nails. This was inspiered by a dress a saw in May's Elle magazine. I used a dotting tool to make the dots and free handed the "roses". I failed at the roses, but from far away you can guess they are some type of flower. Due to today's event I have to change my manicure to a classic red.

I will be taking lots of pictures from today. My Fiance and I will be attending the annul 50th Anniversary Gala for his job. I finally found an elegant evening gown which I can't wait for him to see. Time to get ready!

Great Amazon.com Finds!

Hello beautiful! Just had coffee with my momma and we had conchas to dunk in our coffee yummy.  My Sister is so cute, since Ricardo and I are already starting to plan the wedding she got me this magazine to get a head start.

For today's post, I wanted to share a new item I am so obsessed with and highly recommend! It is the Seche Vite top nail coat. Ommgahhh it works wonders. After using one coat I instantly felt a difference in the strength of my nails, as well as how long my manicure lasted, and it's gloss. One of my good friends, Liz from Instagram (and real life) recommended this magic in a bottle. 

 

I like to get inspired by everyone just like you do! And once I saw Heart have this on her nails. (Essie Limited Edition 2009 Lovie Dovie.)  I had to order it off Amazon. I found it for less than $6.
