HOW I MANAGE MY SPLIT ENDS WITH THESE TWO PRODUCTS

I love long hair on me and don’t want to sacrifice length just because I have damaged split ends. I have been very patient letting it grow out but needed to find a way to manage it. This is how I have managed my hair with just two products. 

As many products as I have tried to fix my split ends, nothing has really solved my problem. They still bothered me very much and the only way to fix it was either to trim them month after month or add a lot of hair oil and other products to the ends. The hair oil was nothing but a band-aid on the problem and soon after getting a trim on my hair they still are damaged. 

I decided to try the Pantene 14 Day Challenge by using one of their Shampoo and Conditioners for, you guessed it, 14 days. I go to the gym four to five days out of the week and shower and wash my hair often. I really put it to the test. Washing your hair frequently can cause your hair to dry out more and so I was nervous it wouldn’t work. I chose the Repair & Protect Shampoo and Conditioner and oh my word! I kid you not, I have never felt my hair this soft. 

I didn’t notice much of a difference the first three days until about the fourth day in. Why? I’m guessing it’s because I had a lot of build up from other products I’ve been using on my hair trying to tame my damaged ends. That oil was really in there I guess, which caused dandruff. I was sticking to shampoos that claimed to help with damaged ends but just felt heavier on my hair. Causing more build up. 

Once I started using the Pantene Repair & Protect Collection, I noticed right off the bat, that the shampoo made my hair feel squeaky clean. It helped eliminate build up. Which let the conditioner absorb more of the product into my hair. Which then led to my hair getting the most benefit out of the product, leaving my hair feeling extra smooth and soft. I not only felt but also saw result by the seventh day in. 

At first trying out this challenge, I honestly didn’t think I would see much of a difference but I was wrong. Consistently using it day after day, I started to see a difference in my hair. It felt much better. Though it didn’t actually get rid of my split ends it helped soften them and not break as much. I don’t have to use as many hair oils or masks to manage my hair after styling it with a hot tool. My ultimate goal was to be able to straighten my hair and not see so many split ends. I haven’t rocked straight hair in a long time due to the damage. But look at it now! It looks much healthier. 

I am so glad I tried this challenge. The best part is how affordable Pantene is. I dare you to try it out and let me know your results after two weeks. You might be trying to mask the problem with tons of products when you only need two. One to really clean your hair, and another to give you nutrients.
